Affiliate disclosure
In short: Swiper earns money through affiliate links. If you click a link to a retailer and buy something, we may get a commission. You pay the same price. It never affects which deals we list.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a link to a retailer that tells them you came from Swiper. If you go on to buy, the retailer may pay us a small percentage of the sale. Affiliate links are a form of advertising, so we label them clearly.
Which links are affiliate links?
Treat every "View deal" button and every link to a retailer on this site as an affiliate link. Each deal card is labelled "Affiliate link", and a notice appears at the top of every page. Links within Swiper itself (to our own pages) are not affiliate links.
Does it affect the price I pay?
No. The price is set by the retailer and is the same whether or not you use our link.
Does commission affect which deals you list?
No. Every deal must pass the same checks:
- the price is lower than a price the item genuinely sold at recently;
- we show the lowest price we have seen, and the date we last checked;
- the retailer delivers to the UK.
A deal that fails these checks is not listed, whatever commission is available. Retailers cannot pay to have a deal listed or to change where it appears. If that ever changes, for example a paid placement, it will be clearly labelled as an advert on the deal itself.
Who we work with
We may earn commission through affiliate networks and retailer programmes. These may include [list your networks, e.g. Amazon Associates, Awin, Rakuten Advertising].
If you use Amazon Associates, its terms require this statement: "As an Amazon Associate, Swiper earns from qualifying purchases."
Our standards
We aim to follow the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (CAP Code), including the rule that marketing communications must be obviously identifiable as such, and the CMA's guidance on pricing and on fake or misleading savings claims under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
